Big value this. Loads of stuff going on.

Very ripe strawberry and apricot dominate the palate, so I decanted it hoping for complexity. And I got it. Swirl it around and find wet rock, dank funk, spice. A wine of extraordinary diversity. My personal passion is the power of spice, but I cannot ignore the craft and layers here. Hits a peak about an hour into decant

Lighter than I expected. Juicy acidity and could spice but Less complex than I wanted.

Needs time. Structured. Better next day

Seemed very Grenache focused and not too much going on. Again busy night with a friend who’s been in the wine business for years.

I don’t drink much CDP but this is prettay prettay prettay, good. Fruit forward but lots of secondary leathery garrigue characteristics. I dig it.
