Great wine, still a baby but needs more time. Tightly wound and compact, this revealed hints of what in 5 years should be really enjoyable.

I think there are better examples from Chenes.

Nice bright acid matched with cola and a damp earthy funk.

Dark cherry. Earth. A bit subdued, but a lovely volnay.

Among all the crus, Clos des Chenes always speaks to me most clearly. A 2009 at lunch in Beaune changed my life a few years ago.
