Tonight I found this 2012 Saint Roch Côte du Roussillon Vieilles Vignes Grenache Blanc-Marsanne. A blend od 80% Grenache Blanc and 20% Marsanne.

The nose has notes of pinapple, pear, honeydew melon, cream, mango and wet gravel.

On the palate I am getting white peach, pear, beeswax, saline, lemon curd and wet gravel.

This is medium bodied and probably getting to the end of its life witha smooth mouthfeel, medium acidity and a medium length minimal citrus crushed rock finish. I hope everyone is well on the cusp of the weekend. Please continue to be safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂

Maury Sec doesn't apply to whites I guess...but this is very pretty, and perfect with smoked ricotta agnolotti.

Ripe yet so fresh. Not very complex, but this is the basis for what white wine from south of France should be

Nice Rhone white, white plum, pear, oily body that turns dry with lime and mineral on the finish.

Saturday night I opened this blend of Grenache Blanc and Marsanne. On the nose I got banana, marzipan, lychee fruit and minerality. The palate brings on peach, guava, lychee fruit with saline minerals and a oily mouth feel. I was hoping for a lot more but it is an easy quaffable wine. Just hoping for more from this wine.
