Bright but a little cloudy red brown to red orange color with beautiful gradation.
Note was like caramel,plum, raisin, dried fig, blackberry, dried plum pickles,cacao, chocolate, rum, timber, dried beef, woods after rain, mushroom.
Less sweet and good acidic attack with dried fruits nuance. Acidity increased smoothly and vibrantly and harmonized with bitterness. Long and comfortable finish with good tannin and complexity.

E' sicuramente un buon vino, ma me lo aspettavo diverso, più magro ed elegante. Meglio il giorno dopo.

I’ve been “into” Italian wines for several years now, with nerdy fervor. And it still amazes me that I can run into wines/varietals/DOCs that I’ve never heard of. This is the beauty and allure of this avocation. Restrained red fruit and tannins, in fact everything is in moderation. But the mouthfeel is silky, and the complexity from pepper and herbs is sublime. Overall this is easy drinking but with enough stuffing to handle all but the most serious food pairings.
