Domaine Remi Jobard Sous La Velle Meursault. Color- Pale yellow Palate- Nose- Toasted almonds, vanilla. Palate- Ripe apple, light butter, hazelnut. Find acidity & well balanced. Needs about 15/20 minutes in the glass to open up. Drinking wonderfully now. @Mike R The group of us thoroughly enjoyed the wine. Once again thank you so much for this gift!! See you soon buddy!

Lovely Meursault, this is my fifth bottle of this elegant wine, gold color, with an appealing nose of grapefruit, limestone, more metals, a light hint of butter and tropical fruits. Full body, smooth and round, with nice minerality and acidity, a lovely fresh finish. All in all a great village white. My score 88, drink to 2016

Light gold, mineral nose with chalk, grapefruit, a touch of butterscotch, a hint of lemon and tropical fruit. Full round smooth creamy body with refreshing acidity. A medium to long finish. A nice Meursault, but not overly complex. My score 88, drink to 2017. My 4th bottle with consistent note.

More complex fruit profile than the Bourgogne Blanc. Seems less mineral but really takes off after 24 hours. The bottom end fills out and the classic nutty component appears alongside more tropical fruit.

A little effervescence feel at the opening that goes away, citrus aromas, nice tension on the medium/soft bodied palate, tart and slightly sour finish, nice but not the deepest or more complex. 88-89
Une petite effervescence à l’ouverture qui se dissipe par contre, des arômes d’agrumes, belle acidité mais une finale un peu amer, assez bien mais pas le plus profond ni le plus complexe. 88-89
