Champagne morning, noon and night!
First for me. Twin top disk agglomerate middle cork. This thing is TCA to high heaven. Wins most corked wine I’ve had. — 2 months ago
Red fruit and thyme nose. Raspberry (and leaf) roasted vegetables (in a good way) white pepper with tannins at the edges. Opens nicely. Great pairing with lamb pasta. TBL — 3 months ago
Decant. Spicy berries, red and white peppercorns. Good texture. A little disjointed but the 3rd day it’s a good bbq food wine. SDWC — 20 days ago
Blackberry pie with slightly chewy tannins. Mouth coating with smooth finish. This is a winner. TBL — 2 months ago
Bramble blue fruit with stems. Simple with a little veg and no finish. But enjoyable for me. I like it. Just a porch pounder. Mia not a fan favorite. SDW — 3 months ago

Deep blue and black fruit and nice thick mouthfeel. Balance and really good structure. TCA. Cork is agglomerate with disk on each end. For the life of me I don’t understand the thought process on this type of cork. You are taking a chance of your wine with a slice of cork? Just go with agglomerate and leave the disks off! Agglomerate have come a long way as far as taint. This is the second wine this year that I’ve had that is corked with this type of cork. Good wine ruined by bad cork, so I can’t rate it fairly.
