The 2012 Haut-Ségottes makes a strong impression. An exuberant yet mid-weight wine, the 2012 possesses striking aromatics, no hard edges and enough depth to drink well for at least a handful of years. This is a gorgeous, under the radar Saint-Emilion that delivers the goods. Hubert de Boüard is the consulting winemaker. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous)

Apr 5th, 2017This was better than I expected. Bought at release. Solid wine, pretty florals with a super smooth finish. Good wine for red meat (stewed or grilled). Enjoyed for 2 days.

Ahh...St. Emilion...what else to say? Lasting tannins. Sumptuous nose. Soft bramble, herbs, dirt, and hints of barnyard. Delicious! I wish I had more to serve as my good ole standby.
