@Angelo Casagrande, the better Bandol rouges will age a long time (Tempier, etc.), though I know your brother cringes at the idea of holding them 20 years, for example. Of course, it’s all personal preference.

Quartetto Rosso Langhe DOC Nebbiolo 2022
About 40% Nebbiolo; the rest PN, Syrah, and Merlot. I generally avoid non Italian grapes in Italian wines because I’m an Italian wine snob. There are hundreds of indigenous Italian grapes. Does everyone really want just the Pinots and Merlots? But this was quite good. A birthday gift from my kids. Fruity, some tannins - I can taste the Nebbiolo. Quite fruity. — 7 days ago
Honestly, @Angelo Casagrande, I’m with you on the non-indigenous varietal issue vis-a-vis Italian wines.
Me too @Doug Powers But I am a sucker for Gaja's Nebbiolo that has Cab and Merlot in the mix.

This could age longer. Deep purple, some tannins still there, plum/ cherry/ some leather. Surprised to see my brother drank the same bottle-vintage a week ago and I just randomly selected this. He was also the source of this acquisition! — 2 days ago
