Big, bold, dark wine. 14.5. Not my usual gamay. Went nicely w grilled, stuffed chicken breast. If anything, maybe a little too robust. But I liked it. Medium- bodied with concentrated fruit. — 20 days ago
Fragrant chard with apple/ pear w a hint of citrus on the finish. Excellent acidity and some stony minerality. Bright and welcoming. Tom- it may be trying to pass itself off as a more haughty cotes de beaune, however. — a month ago
Zin, with some Petit Syrah, carignan, Barbera, and some else I can’t remember. Lots of Black cherry and some spice. No tannins or oak. Great burger wine for $15. — 13 days ago
Nice salinity and minerality. Some citrus Nice aperitif — 20 days ago
Nice initial blast of cherry. But sours on the finish. Drink these up. I think this one peaked already. Still drinking ok. But I liked the first glass more than the last two hours later. — a month ago
Nice enough. Fresh, strawberry and some lemon, good acidity. — a month ago
Dark yellow. Like the color of a Czech Pilsner. Natural wine. Some funk and earthiness. Great minerality. Not a ton of fruit, but an enjoyable and interesting wine. — 13 days ago
Very enjoyable. Had it with a grilled skirt steak. Lots of fruit- cherry, perhaps some strawberry. Mellow tannins. Nice on its own. Slight bitterness on the finish, which doesn’t detract from it at all. — a month ago
Dark Mahogany with brown hues. Nose of smoke and tobacco. Hefty but soft tannins. Cherry, iodine, nice long finish. Made a meat sauce for it. Decanted for 3 hours. Almost no sediment. — a month ago
