When Abele Bolla opened up Al Gambero Inn in the northern Italian town of Soave over 100 years ago, no one could have guessed that the favorite pastime of winemaking would continue for four generations. Deep Ruby with aromas of jammy berry fruits, spice and oak. On the palate cherry and dried plum with bold spice, floral, cacao and cedar. Structured firm tannins, nicely balanced on long finish ending with fruit, cedar and earthy spice. Just starting to drink well now with room to age. — 5 years ago

Color of light gold, with a very faint hue of green tone. Nose of honey, sweet flowering note, tangerine, a bit spice, and more sweet tangerine. Taste of nice zest, acidity, a bit hokey, mineral, tangerine, spice, refreshingly light yet savory. Aftertaste of acidity, a bit too much lime zest, above average. — 7 years ago

Blackberry jam and lingering campfire incense nose. Pie. Pie. Blackberry Pie. Crusty and crumbly and baked to perfection. Berries burst upon lips' touch. Dessert in a glass, but by no means sweet. Highly astringent, succinctly slicing that pie on the finish.

What a real treat - beautiful CF fruit dances with an unknown % of Vidal and Viognier to create a remarkably balanced French style Rosé. Classic strawberry+apple acidity mingles with a mineral undercurrent to have food cleansing charm and rich mid-palate mouthfeel. The classic phrase applies: refreshing!! well done WW :) — 8 years ago
