Aroma of flinty strawberries. Tart strawberries berries upfront. Watermelon comes into play in the middle. Then a quick bone dry finish. — 3 years ago

Dry and acidic. Liked it a lot — 4 years ago
Deep dark plum in the glass. Basically impenetrable. A touch of bricking on the thin edges. On the nose, the fruit is barely clinging on but still present. Plums and blueberries are the dominant notes here. A heavy dose of toasted cedar and green bell peppers. There’s faint floral aromas of violets along with a shock of burnt tobacco.
This is about as Napa as Napa gets. I was quite worried about how this Cab would present but it’s still alive and kicking. The end may be nigh but not quite nigh enough. Pleasant acid and well integrated tannins. Big and rich as you would expect an Oakville Cab to be but still smooth after hours of decanting. Plenty of chocolate with a dash of vanilla. The fruit on the tongue is diminished and subtle but still showing pretty well. Cherry pie and blueberry cobbler. The finish is medium length with just a touch of soft spice. This was so much fun and a great experience. Definitely mature and knocking on the door of almost gone but still good, nonetheless. — 4 years ago
Really good. — 7 years ago
This is their premier Cabernet. Perfectly balanced- elegant. Tart Red and Black berries with good length and a touch of mint. Good acidity in the finish Just delightful with our grilled lamb chops on this cold blizzard night! At home with PJ my wife — 8 years ago
May have waited a bit too log on this. Surprisingly, still held up fairly well.

Spicy mulberry aromas and flavors in this lovely aged Shiraz from the Whispering Hill vineyard in the Mt. Barker area of the Great Southern region, the winery is about 1 hour north of the Margaret River area, on the way south from Perth, still quite dark color, starting to show its age, but still a very fine Shiraz!! — 6 months ago
A little fruity nose, but otherwise not much there. Coffee, black licorice on the palate, not excessively fruity. Powdery tannins, almost chalky. We hadn't had a Wash State cab before and wasn't sure what to expect, but we really liked this wine. — 5 years ago

Kicking back letting the local tunes adjust my attitude with wine:30 showing on the clock she strolls in my direction digging the slow roll Hendrix spinning left then twisting right dressed in deep purple clinging and flowing interestingly crimson along her rim and edges back to casually claret whispering that she's from a small chateau hanging on the right bank of the Gironde near Arveyres. Offering her hand, I accept pulling her in close then a slow spin and a slower twirl she comes close bathed in the essence of blackberry and spice, young but ripe, wet earthy slowly working her way to a first kiss dripping then gripping, pulling tightly then going soft and silky still clinging while working her way deeper. I close my eyes, Hendrix stops and she's gone. A distant guitar string bends an unknown player. I spot her by the bar, her colors waving in the breeze of a lazy fan I reach out take her firmly by the neck, then lower bending her gently back then spinning her my way, she again engages, her essence lingering in my memory, we dance on as the tunes continue their spin. Later, when we are both done I figure she's likely a fine Merlot brightened by Cab Franc having found her way through new French oak nestled by the river, intelligently nuanced well worth the dance and cost is not an issue...
