What a nose. Spice, cocoa, earth and very complex. Cherries as well. Super expansive. Leather and wood shavings. Cherry liquer. Wow. Stunning aromas. Palate has energy and purity for days plus awesome sappy texture and grippy but sweet tannins and wonderful sappy cherries. Good freshness and texture and very nimble. This has serious structure and will age very very well. — 4 years ago

A truly representation of an Old Vine Zin (Mohr Fry) from Acampo, Lodiis all about. Made out of 90+ year-old vines which provides a great amount of concentrated ripe cherry and abundance rich ripen red fruit flavors. Persistent and lingering to perfection point on the finish. Although is 15.8% abv, is warm with enough balance and structure. Oaky can be perceived medium-low as well. One of the top dogs of Macchia wines. — 2 years ago

@Delectable Wine this is called Graf. The winery is Mohr-Niggli. Thanks!
Coffee/Chocolate/spices/cherry/earthy and mineral. Really wonderful. So enveloping and complete. Super floral and high toned. Wonderful spice. Juicy, deep and concentrated. But so closed. Amazing finesse and nimbleness. Big tannins, finish is a bit short for now but will extend. It has a sneaky persistence. Nose is crazy floral. So sexy and aromatic. Lacey and loose on the palate and tangy and fresh and supple. This has it all going on. Very silky and sweet and opens and opens every second. This is very high quality. This will last 20+ years as well. This is a superstar wine. — 4 years ago
