I was surprised by how enjoyable this Pinot was. Nicely balanced berries and tannins medium bodied. We found it very satisfying. — 2 years ago
Gorgeous nose of dusty bark, intense cherry, some mineral and also cassis. Terrific and expressive nose. Palate is so juicy and clean with cherry fruit that just bursts on the palate. Very subtle tannins and terrific freshness. Elegant and long. Showing great complexity and persistence. Really well made.
As this airs the mid palate gets more opulent but sacrifices no nerve or energy. Almost 9.3. — 3 months ago
Showing very young with notes of lemon, porphyry, some florals but faint and barely ripe apricot. Some confectionary comes through as well. Tightly coiled on the palate but has terrific freshness and just insane acidity. Electricity. Tactile impression of minerals and faint fruit on the backend which dissipated gorgeously. So pure and so sappy. Exceptionally long. Needs to open a lot. But 9.5 for now. Getting more confectionery on the nose after some air. More elegance as well. But fiercely mineral. Almost no fruit. A contrast to last time I had this. — 2 years ago

Enjoyed more after aeration, berries/jammy, rocky terroir, smooth and round — 2 years ago
The deluxe bling bling bottling at Schneider. What a nose. More youthful than the normal. Big berry, big cherry, forest floor, cassis, spice, just gorgeous and more obviously youthful. But after coaxing there is serious aromatic depth. Palate is lovely and elegant and has substantial fruit and spice. Even a hit of red licorice. Sweet sappy fruit, velvety and such fine and elegant tannins. Even chewy in the most light way possible. Just ethereal and substantial at the same time. Palate develops with cranberry, some hoisin sauce, and deep cassis that stays with you. Excellent and has life ahead of it. — 4 years ago
