1996 Domaine Dujac Clos St. Denis. HB w Mark R and J&H R. Perfect. No decanting. — 8 years ago
Hard not to go 94 here but with some time in cellar.
All the 22’s I’ve had to this point, stunning!
This is another amazing wine on entry. Elegant and all you expect and more at the level. Granny Smith apple, lime flesh w/ pith & zest, pineapple juice, white peach, tropical green melon, paraffin, waxy, excellent chalky powder, white spice, limestone powder, field of spring white flowers framed in jasmine, perfect acidity and a beautiful, well made & balanced finish that lasts nearly two-minutes and lands on chalk & spice. — 2 years ago
1994 Screaming Eagle. Dinner w J&L B and D&M H while staying with D&M in Santa Ynez. Opened and waited about an hour. Decanted right before serving. Tons of jammy dark fruit. Opened more in the glass. JB mentioned full palate and balance. Great finish. Preferred this to ‘91 Dominus once this opened up. — 6 years ago
1996 Colgin Herb Lamb. HB w Mark R and J&H R. Perfect. Big. Tons of fruit. No decanting. — 8 years ago
Wild stuff - big bold brash - you don’t expect that w/this varietal, but this had all kinds of body & texture. Austere nose til it warmed up then it was throwing aromas like lime peel, green tea, Granny Smith, kiwi - green things… plenty of acidity, mineral & resoundingly dry finish. Anomaly / interesting, not sure we loved it — 3 years ago
August 12, 2020. In Tucson, celebrating new home purchase w/ Caitlin. Purchased at Feast. Lovely producer champagne, Apple and citrus on the nose. A bit of citrus and vanilla on palate. Incredibly lovely champagne. — 6 years ago

Just beautiful. It grows more amazing over time. Medium light viscosity. Starts with high acid, leather, grows to strawberry and red currant, ends with maple syrup. — 3 months ago
