Meursault-Porusots 1er Cru Chardonnay

Too young, too reduced.

Pricey. I like 2013 white burgundy but this one didn’t totally do it for me…

sealed with a Diam 30, no sulfur or matchstick noticed, lean Meursault with citrus that filled out after a bit of air but just didn’t hit all cylinders. A cheap 2014 Chanzy Meursault Narvaux the prior night blew this away. Maybe it’s a vintage thing.

2013 Lafon Mersault-Porusots. HB w Mark R and J&H R. No decanting. Didn’t try this one, but Jeanne really enjoyed it. Gave it a thumbs up.

2013 Lafon Mersualt-Porusots. LACMA group lunch. DS owner. Nice minerality. Great w shellfish. High in acid.
