Latour is definitely one of my top three Bordeaux’s.

Even their 3rd wine is special. First 2010 from the vintage I’ve opened. It didn’t disappoint. Just coming around to nice drinking and has another 10-15 years ahead. 3 hour decant.

Arinto is a white grape from Portugal. It can produce high acid wines with lemon notes. If you never heard of this grape and wine you are not alone. Got this at Lo-Fi a funky place/wine bar in Los Alamos, CA 2 years ago. The wines can be hit and miss but this is - well awesome. Super fresh and bright. Mandarine nose, with a touch of malo (cheese). In the glass ton’s of mandarine and citrus notes. Hint green apple. Touch honey. Malolactic fermentation clearly shows. A great wine to pair with seafood. If you are in the Santa Maria Valley stop by - they play old LP’s on their turntable! And for some reason they remember me even if i show up just once a year. — a year ago

Cor terrosa, mas com uma vermelho bom para 7 anos. Corpo médio e lágrimas delimitada. Aroma florado, lembrando aveludado também. Na boca se apresenta muito bem, com suavidade, taninos macios, acidez equilibrada, com uma complexidade que apresenta um sabor marcante e bem estrurado. Excelente vinho. — 3 years ago

Silky smooth. Easy to pair (burgers were great) or not. To quote CWC, “aromas of ripe cherry, roasted strawberry, lemon zest, papaya, cranberry, orange, and oak spice…” “citrus and red fruit on the palate” “with refreshing acidity and polished tannin…” I would like more please 😬 — 4 years ago

Com rubi, e aroma de álcool bem marcante, com um pouco de frutificado. Não tem corpo, sabor levemente amadeirado com taninos macios. É um bom vinho, bem seco. Se aproxima das características dos vinhos chilenos e argentinos. — 4 years ago
