Color of ruby with grapefruit and purple tone on the rim, quite clear. Nose of immense cherry, spice, fermented cabbages, and strength of alcohol. Taste of warmth, a bit watery, spice, black pepper, subtle sweetness and acidity from dark fruits, and some more black pepper. BIG!!! Intense purple color. Old vine (70 Years+) Tempranillo. Very fruit forward and almost New World in style. Aromas of ripe black fruit, violets, rose hips and vanilla. Same ripe black cherry/berry flavors with hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Spicy vanilla on the long finish. Silky tannins. Quite interesting. Even better the second day.
