Italy. White. Sardegna.
Yet another gem from Sardegna. Not as fruity, more floral/honey but still delicious with seafood. A smooth, fuller bodied wine. 13.5% alc by vol, nuragus grapes. This is more Chardonnay-like in feel than the vermentino I had from Sardegna. Both are recommended. — 4 years ago
— 9 years ago

Overall quality is fine and dandy, super fresh with slight frizzante texture on the palette.
Not sure if its the super freshness or wine making direction, but, not a fan of the excessive acidity and grassy notes in the direction of Sauv Blanc. Grabbed as cooking wine (and chef sippy) so not too concerned, but had I purchased for dinner its not what I expect nor want. I love Sardinia sandy fennel notes, hate NZ Grassy. — 3 years ago
Very nice. Fresh and crisp. Light hints of tropical fruits (or is that Juicy Fruit gum?). Light bodied but nice mouth feel. — 8 years ago
