Trout Lily Ranch

Trout Lily Ranch

Adam's Vineyard Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir 2015

Delicious. Expressive and composed nose shows sappy cherry, moist loam, graham cracker spice, and a slight resiny note. Very Burgundian. In the mouth it’s quite elegant. Deep fruit in a bone dry package, lots of crushed stone minerality. Very long. Soft texture. Hint of porcini. The only quibble is that alcoholic heat peaks through a teeny bit. — 7 months ago

Trione Vineyards & Winery

River Road Ranch Chardonnay 2014

Pineapple-butterscotch, dried lemon, buttered biscuit, pumpernickel toast, chanterelle, lily-of-the-valley parfum. Rich, full mouthfeel with lemongrass, toasted baguette, butterscotch pudding drizzle, lemon oil, cinnamon and a hint of olive brine on an extended wrap! I know I am making it sound fruit-bomb, but it is elaborate without lacking finesse, and hasn't be one the drawn butter soup of others in this price range. #chardonnaystudygroup #chardonnayday #russianriver #sonomawine #singlevineyard #Trione #rrv #chardattack #cawine — 7 years ago
