Pop and pour. A brilliant dark magenta color. On the nose: restrained notes of red fruit, vanilla, earth, herbs, and smoke. Taste: strawberry/raspberry, baking spice, dark chocolate, saline, minerals, with a medium finish. Blend of cab franc, cab sav, petit verdot, malbec, tempranillo, ancellotta from Ecuador. Never had Ecuador wines, but while here will need to taste through some. This was a nice easy to drink start. — 7 days ago
