A little heat with plenty of super ripe black fruits...but what else is new from Ribera del Duero? The good news is that this is finally out of its sleeping phase. Took 3-4 years. The fruit is showing through the oak. The oak is more integrated. I won't say it's singing. But I will say it's strutting around. There's a lot of life in this wine.

Still so powerful and fresh. Great nose with loads of black fruit, cocoapowder and acidity to balance that.

2005 gave us some great wines. Today we are celebrating the 16th birthday of our son and just as he the wine is shining. Loads of red fruit, smooth tanins. Pure joy!!

Today 15 years ago our lives completely changed! Congrats L! The wine is simply spectacular! Great nose with lots of red fruit. Tanins nicely integrated and subtle acidity. It was worth the wait!

Blackest of fruit. Almost syrup. Big big big. This is day 3 of the open bottle and still big. The challenge for us is how loaded these wines are. American oak is predominant in Ribera Del Duero. Not 14.5% alc as per label.
