Spicy Thai pepper nose with funky apricot nose. A mind blowing swirl of goodness in the glass.. Bretty sweetness that smells like neutral gum. Very salty and sugary with Minerally and bamboo notes. Fantastic scope. Lively mouthfeel with lemon fruit, titanium notes and a dried grass and apricot revisit. — 10 years ago

Despite a 2+ hr decant this was a coiled titanium spring. Shy nose gave only wafts of schist (full of schist?), and led the palate with steely black fruit. Tapped a 2014 Rivers to see where things lie. The tannins settled with 1-2 hours of decanting. The fruit - nothing’s stopping that train. A steamroller of ripe fruit backed by a titanium backbone courtesy of the hillside site. Really nice offering but not quite 94 in my book. — 6 years ago
