I think this ended up being my WOTN, though the Altagracia was right there with it. First time having a Bryant wine. So well polished and harmonious. No one thing stood out in this wine. In the words of @Mike R , this is a “smile wine”. Both powerful fruits alongside elegant flower and herbal/spices. 👌 — 9 years ago

Guilty...I’ve never had anything from Forman before. I hear their longevity is lengthy and I can see why. This ‘12 has very delicious and focused energy all the way through. It wasn’t a fruit bomb, but it wasn’t overly tannic. Seemed right down the middle. Red, blue and black fruits alongside earthy herbs and a touch of cedar. Loved this. — 9 years ago

@Kirk Feyereisen : I imagine that ‘05 is singing right now. Reminds me of an old Lexus...it’s not the sexiest on the block, but the bones are solid and you know it will treat you well and go strong for years to come!

@Carl Fischer : It’s an event they do once a year in town for those who are loyal to the local wine shop. They have a very solid wine shop with hidden gems and big names, so it’s definitely a good stop in Fort Worth. Nice to have an “appreciation” type dinner!

Possibly WOTN for me. Never had Altagracia or Araujo before. The nose on this made me swoon. Silky in every way. Plum, lavender, blueberry, on the palate with a savory and lean finish. Excellent! — 9 years ago
