Deep exotic and exciting confectionary tones: birthday cake, lacquer, hazelnut, a pretty bit of floral volatility. Long creamy finish with a quality that’s distinctly different from the 2015; more lemon curd, creme brûlée, and frankincense. Good for the thrill seeker now but will be wonderful with much more time in the cellar. A wine that uses oak in an exhilarating, fresh way. — 4 years ago

Not an Albariño seeker but this was a knockout.... lees contact makes all the difference. Crisp bright lemon, white flowers and saline. Tense yet round, a great Sauvignon Blanc alternative. — 6 years ago
