Deep exotic and exciting confectionary tones: birthday cake, lacquer, hazelnut, a pretty bit of floral volatility. Long creamy finish with a quality that’s distinctly different from the 2015; more lemon curd, creme brûlée, and frankincense. Good for the thrill seeker now but will be wonderful with much more time in the cellar. A wine that uses oak in an exhilarating, fresh way. — 4 years ago

Bought for $13 at the corner store. Great in Bishop's, and on it's own. Better chilled. — 4 years ago
