2017 Vintage. 15.9% ABV. Only other SQN on the massive wine list at Sardine Factory was Stock so no problem opening this one. Massive kirsch nose and fruit with a two minute finish. Amazing Grenache with a bit of Syrah and a hint of Viognier. Loved it. Could use more cellaring but this was our first of the coveted wooden box. — a year ago

Tertiary flavours like leather, tobacco and some smokiness develop after decanting for a while. Paired with grilled chicken; white tuna tomato salad; smoked sardine; fish soup for lunch.
