Had at that seafood restaurant in Milan. Strong scent of rose. Looked for it all over the city and never found it — 3 years ago
Needed this last night when I had a bowl of fish stew at the best Mexican restaurant in Seattle. Perfect wine for seafood and summer, or even a midwinters’ remembrance of summer. Pale yellow white, very good clarity. Yeast and white floral notes in nose. Crisp, creamy grapefruit notes in mouth. Shows some finesse — 5 years ago
Excited to try with spicy seafood dish at the oldest restaurant in Florida and world largest Spanish restaurant in the world. Jammy with vanilla notes. Love the prior review about scraping blueberry pie. 😋 — 5 years ago
Enjoying this white wine with salmoon and seafood at Oban's Eeusk seafood restaurant! — 2 years ago
Fresh apple and some lemon🤔 great bouquet with some flowers (roses I think) clean and crisp this is a no brainer for this low price (€30,00) at our restaurant, paired with seafood and bread a great match. Love the label and I believe this is a very good winzer — 4 years ago
We served a magnum of this with seafood next to a magnum of Rombauer, so folks could have a two very clear and contrasting choices. Stony Hill Chardonnay is in many ways the anti-Rombauer: steel tanks instead of oak, crisp and clean instead of round and buttery, a food wine meant to be paired instead of a solo act. Nicely balanced with notes of apple, grapefruit and minerals. Bought this magnum at a St. Vincent’s Meals on Wheels fundraiser at Petrossian Restaurant and enjoyed it a few weeks later at the Water Grill in downtown LA at a festive retirement dinner. — 5 years ago
