TW Excellent 2021 vintage — 5 months ago
Great way to finish a two-week business trip in New York. Paired well with duck confit. — 8 months ago
The 3rd and final bottle of the 11’ vintage (a underestimated vintage IMO), and it keeps getting better. The slight green note from the previous 2 bottles is no longer present. At a great place now. While it does not have the usual richness and power, it’s impeccably balanced, fresh, seamless, and graceful, which is preferable to me.
And I can’t thinking of a better bottle to pair with Pekin duck.
Almost perfect!

The color of the 2000 Pignan is a brilliant pale ruby color and slightly cloudy. Noticeably lighter in complexion than the others in the CdP flight. Yep…it has that scintillating, heady nose that is so unique to Rayas. Pine needles, wild strawberries, cardamom…woof. This bottle had some VA but I didn’t mind. Perhaps not the most exciting Rayas but I’m splitting hairs here. A very nice pairing with cassoulet, Toulouse sausage and duck confit. Drink now and through 2035. Merci Matt! — 7 months ago
Sparkling wine with a refreshing citrus orange taste. Drinkable and light mouthfeel. — 2 years ago
Went really well with duck breast. Has effervescence combined with an almost “meaty” flavor. Exotic and yet I kept coming back for more… — 4 months ago
