Very light colored. Candy- like in some ways. Lots a pepper- spice. Had this with a shallot- pancetta-Parmesan risotto- only with farro rather than spice. Very nice- not overpowering at all. I’ve found this winery’s wines excellent. — 10 months ago

Dark ruby with aromas of blackberry, stewed red fruits, cedar/oak, and a bit of smoke. On the bud, it’s rich and full bodied with nice acidity. It has a slight tanginess with more red fruits. Of course, great with our pasta! — 2 months ago

My first Ripasso!!! Wow!!! Ruby colored with wood and cherry aromas. This is a big bold wine that is very smooth. It’s boldness reminds me of a Cabernet Sauvignon. Cherry, wood, and plenty of spice notes with a fairly long finish. Went well with our Leg of Lamb! — 4 years ago
