#lupa couldn't resist a second bottle of this one. Smooth easy to share with can lovers but not too big for me — 9 years ago
Short’s Huma Lupalicious IPA. Pergola lacing. Warm oranges, carrot cake, white cherries, spaghetti squash, pineapple upside down cake, baklava, pencil shavings and pound cake waft from this bakery of delights. Rich, creamy and lemon-marshmallowy in scope, sporting banana pudding and lemon pith, lime and trailing bitterness of green onions and chewed pencil. Final note is zests of every citrus with an extra zest of grapefruit. From primordial pudding to a backbone of citric acid that makes even the lowest slug or troglodyte stand up. — 7 years ago

Comfort food and wine at Lupa — 9 years ago
Had this wine 10 years ago at Lupa. Lots of berries- a touch of sweetness. Very smooth but almost too light — 9 years ago
Continue to think these Alto Piemontes are rather undervalued nebbiolos. This one was from Boca, which is known for being a bit more "feminine". Quite aromatic, excellent fruit that doesn't cross over into jammy territory, smooth but very present tannins, and good acid. Had at Lupa - one for food for sure. — 9 years ago

A fun blend of mostly Dolcetto and splash of Gewurztraminer, the 2022 “La Lupa” pours and bright orangish ruby color with medium viscosity and no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with remarkably fragrant notes of white and purple flowers, watermelon, maraschino cherry, kiwi, pine needles, and wet rocks. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. Finish is medium. This is an unbelievable quaffable wine. Is this Glou Glou or is this serious? Nicoletta answered, “why not both?” Drink now and good luck keeping the glass down. — 2 years ago
