Pity Mesa Grill closed. Tantara sent this private label East and am enjoying last drop. 2011: inky purple, garnet rim. Big meaty spicy black fruit nose. Blackberry flavor high acid plenty of tannin. Santa Rita Rills, always been a source of interest to me. Started with Tantara years ago, and was a huge fan of the Tantara Dierberg Chardonnay. This wine here is enjoyable for sure. Chocolate and cherries, spices and a bit of stems on the nose, but not in a bad sense. 13,9 alk, but restricted.vlengthy and nicely taniny finish. Again, enjoyable for the price. — 10 years ago
