First of two bottles from tried and true wineries, and Talley held its own. Velvety on the tongue, it has perfectly aged stone fruits and mellow spices. Wonderful start to finish. — 7 months ago
Delicious - great red for summer, very light but great flavor — 9 months ago
Dark cherries, spices, tannins come together in ways that that do Talley proud. Thanks Brian. — 2 months ago
Talley’s entry-level Pinot Noir is a beauty in 2018. Well-concentrated and chewy in texture, it offers energetic cherry and redcurrant flavors, suave florality and an intriguing, earthy touch roasted beets. There’s distinct Old World character to this complex Pinot. $24.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, November 2020) — 5 months ago
Took awhile to open up, licorice and anise notes, plum flavor, velvety, note that it needs an hour or more to open up — 9 months ago
An enjoyable bottle with swordfish and lamb on the grill. Cherries were the dominant fruit, but the spices and minerals softened everything, resulting in a beautiful bottle. — 2 months ago
Aromas of apple, minerality, and petrol. Slight buttery taste. Smooth and golden color. — 6 months ago
Stone fruits and silky mouth feel. Lighter than many Talleys, but delicious nevertheless.. — 7 months ago
Smoky oak note, very smooth and velvety, but crisp — 9 months ago

Beautifully clear gold color. On the nose delightful lemon aromas. Early on thought acidity was low but as it aired lovely acidity developed as did the grape flavors. Very fine wine from south of San Francisco. I have to agree Rosemary’s challenges the California Chardonnay top tier. A very delightful and delicious wine. — 4 days ago
