Bought at Target. Very drinkable — 3 years ago
Full flavour with out being overpowering.
Soft and lingering closing.
Would love to try this after a few years maturity. — 4 years ago
Somehow whenever I know that I am drinking a wine to young I see @David T scolding me! I do highly respect his insights and the plan was to wait three more years!
But the realization that I was going to need to sacrifice a bottle; that I can Hopefully replace came late this afternoon.
Most likely we are going to be saying goodbye to our hyperthyroidism kitty " Patience" tomorrow. It has been a long battle and she would have turned 15 July 31st. So some self medicating is warranted! 😓.
Although this wine is delicious even young! Ripe Bing Cherries...licorice...bubble gum..tea leaves and moist forest floor! Delicious wine! I will try to obtain another bottle and let it age longer! — 4 years ago
What a pair w/ Crostini, Chervil Sheep Cheese & Duck Confit. 👌
Dark, juicy, lush to mid fruit core, dark cherries, strawberries, hues of blueberries, raspberries, limestone, softened granitic earth, deeper red cola, black & red licorice, baseball card bubble gum, understated fresh herbs, dark, rich, sweet earth, hints of maple syrup, tree bark w/ sap, dark & red florals for days, excellent, round acidity and a well made, balanced, relaxed tension, polished, lush finish that lasts 90 seconds. Delicious.
This is better than some premier cru red burgundies for far less $.
Absolutely one of the top three producers of Grand Cru Gamay. — 2 months ago
Wow wow wow. This was simply tremendous. Goldilocks. Not too dry. Not too sweet. Lovely complexity. Bravo Mr @Mike Smith! — 4 years ago
Purchased at vineyard April 2024 — 8 months ago
Blind Date wine! Blind tasting notes: "Bright ruby red, candied red fruits, jolly rancher and bubble gum. Low acid, low tannin, slightly effervescent. The food pairing suggestion makes us think Italy, but the fruitiness and low acid and tannin makes us think Not Italy." Soooo tasty with a BLT and pasta salad with tomato and basil. — 3 years ago
Mineral with a hint of bubble gum on the nose. Very bright and crisp on the front with a nice, dry citrus finish. — 5 years ago

Suggested at Grand Cata on 11/29/2024 when I asked for Ribera sacra bzw. Galicia. $30. L noted Chambers had shipped same wine! Likely natural then, though lacking that liveliness. Drank 11/30/2024. Ash, bubble gum on nose. Puckett tannins will likely settle down with time and warmth. Black fruit, violets, gravel/slate. Long strong finish lingers. — a month ago
