Blinded by the light. There’s something ineffable about this blend of three grapes, that has seamlessly woven them together to be greater than the sum of its parts. Like an antique glass window shining in the evening sunlight, 48% Friulano, 41% Ribolla Gialla, and 11% Chardonnay meld into a synesthesia of sunlight, burbling mountain stream and white flowers. Pear skin, lemon pith, grapefruit and wet stones soar through a gorgeous arc, with small bursts of chamomile. A virtual kaleidoscope of pleasing tastes, including green apple skins, oak, pineapple, straw, coconut, and green pepper. With each sip the pattern changes, and a bout of synesthesia sets in. 👅Red cherry fruit, herbs, olives, tar & florals. Velour texture. Tar and cherries linger on the long and lovely finish. Elegant & refined

La Grande Côte Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2014
Yellow plums and a range of stone fruit, especially the fragrant skins, and excellent wet stone minerals, like a very clear cool country pool in the morning. Very round mouthfeel, round acids like green grapes, gooseberry, rounded out with kiwi. It’s super green and yellow in tasting color spectrum, somewhat violet purple in a synesthesia way.
