Fruity (berries) and a bit peppery. Not a very heavy wine. — 9 years ago
2008 Cayuse En Cerise Syrah
And now for something completely different... what a gamey bastard. this wine was not decanted and for the first hour was all sweat and leather and smoke. no clue to tell you it was made from grapes and then about an hour after opening the fruit began to emerge and a beguiling vanilla note. I think the taste profile doubled in length and the wine really earned it's stripes. Still the polar opposite of the Alban in taste profile, but a sly and even elegant wine for all its gamey funky flavors. I'd date this dark exotic beauty anytime. — 10 years ago

This Cab is particularly nice. Sweet upfront, tapering to dryness with lots of character. Would purchase again. — 9 months ago
Dang, love wines from Paso. They are so creative and have such talented winemakers. This is from Dusi family taking a nice spin on GSM but with Tempranillo, Grenache and Syrah. Super earthy and all kinds of delicious fruit. The balance and silk on the finish...mmm! — 5 years ago
