Outstanding amarone which has successfully blended power and elegance. Lots of cherry liqueur and marzipan aroma. Raisin flavour with rich and velvety tannins. Tasted blind and went for hot vintage in southern Rhone. — 8 years ago

Try to catch up on a big backlog...
This was a nice Veneto piece (not that Bepi ever sucks). Kind of like a Valpolicella Ripasso with a Bdx Adrenalin shot. Still pimping purity and expression, but with just that little bit of added depth and tannin. And super affordable for a Quintarelli. Perfetto with Osso Bucco. — 5 years ago
