Shipwreck nose, smooth and delicious watery entry into an encapsulated nugget of flavor. Shoyu marinated strawberry but muted down to a hint. — 11 years ago
Tawny, buzzing with bass notes on the Riesling spectrum, and bone dry as a glorious shipwreck, this is a Riesling wanting wild mushrooms, or sea urchin, or umami laden smoked seafood. A great, highly versatile food wine and a good candidate to stump tastebuds as to the varietal in a blind tasting. It is more like a Savennières Chenin, with that sense of walnuts, than most Rieslings out there. I'm excited to follow these cats! — 11 years ago

2019 vintage. Coming across as more of a Mount Veeder or Spring Mountain imbroglio instead of Howell Mountain. Granted, it was PNP. Wine needed a little more than the venerable three hour tour to right affairs and avoid the shipwreck. I say, Lovey, if we ever get off this island...8.12.26. — 5 days ago
