Thanksgiving dinner with family. Brother-in-law requested an Oakville Ranch CS and this was the oldest I could quickly put my hands on. Did side by side with a 2014 Sherwin CS Estate. I liked the Sherwin a bit better tonight. Great side by side of these two wines. — 2 years ago
The front label says “Platinum Reserve”. All the different names associated with Cellar Scraps is confusing, as is not having a vintage, so I have no idea how old this bottle is. My fault for not noting an acquired date on the bottle. Anyway…I was a bit disappointed in this bottle…too old???, just at a funky stage???, or just not as great as Cellar Scraps usually is??? — 4 months ago
My bottle is the “8” Reserve. This wasn’t my favorite Sherwin wine but I still enjoyed it. — 6 months ago
It’s no longer dry January! Bold and big but smooth and jammy. Ready to drink with or without lasagne. 😉 So very good! Wish we had friends to drink it with... will buy more! Omaha Wine Company recommendation. Spot on — 4 years ago
Sherwin Cellar Scraps #3 from a magnum. The cork ended up getting pushed into the bottle but once it opened up, it tasted awesome. Don’t know the approximate vintage. — 4 months ago
Wife’s first glass of vino post pregnancy, Sherwin always delivers. — 5 months ago
Really really nice. Silky smooth, like Barbour, Yount Ridge, and Sherwin Family. $55 at OWC. — 4 years ago
Love this stuff! Always so incredibly enjoyable. This is a wine that I can sit back and relax as it’s not overly complex, but that’s what makes it so great. Fruit all over the spectrum, with cedar and spice, Andes mint, and silky in structure. Pop and pour! — 5 years ago

Pop and pour. A majestic inky dark garnet. Muted notes of dark fruit, pine, herbaceous, leather, and oak. Taste: intense, creamy, juicy mtn fruit with dark cherry, tobacco, earth, clove, baking spice, and a medium finish. YUM! — 2 months ago
