Super. A tad fruity. — 3 years ago
This is a version of Primitivo quite different to what we are used in Italy.
I am sure it has its lovers
6 months in French oak and 6 in American oak too
The wine has a deep colour
Multitude of spices over a big fruit.
It is a step away from a Barossa wine and two away from a classic Primitvo.
But it is definitely long and mouth fulling.

Dry, strong smoke flavor. Finishes light with berry — 3 years ago
This wine was really great with BBQ ribs and chicken, a smooth but a little spicy wine would certainly drink again. — 4 years ago
Rose version actually
Great colour
Susumaniello has a distinctive scent and taste of vanilla/caramel which you can find here, not giving by oak or other stuff, but it comes from the grape.
The wine is fleshier than what it looks and quite long.

This wine’s color is a pale yellow, tinted green. The nose is rather muted, but it displays the best of the unadorned grape, without the oak. Citrus aromas dominate, with a healthy minerality, and a sweet floral note adds complexity. The palate has a lemon flavor with a strong element of salinity. It's a great wine to pair with crab or oysters. The acidity is medium strength and the finish highlights the mineral aspect. — 3 months ago
