Amazing. It's fruity, but I've felt only a sweet, ripe plum. But the best is the rest: spicy aromas with leather and smoke like from smokehouse. I simply love it! — 7 years ago

Monbazillac especially Gramde Madison produce some of the best dessert wines. Not overly sweet honey, pear, and hints of figs. Liquid gold! — 7 years ago
Superb finish to a great dining experience! — 8 years ago
Enjoyed at Auberges des Seigneurs in Vence, rural Provence. A perfect accompaniment to fire roasted chicken and Provençal vegetables. Rose petals on the nose, flavours on the palate encompass apple cider, crème brûlée, lemon citrus, and sweet grapefruit. Beautiful balance of acid and sweetness. Long satisfying tart finish. C'est superb! — 9 years ago

Golden in color and taste!!! Aromas of lychee, pear, honey, honeysuckle, and roses. Just slightly sweet. Went great with our spicy Cajun Catfish tonight providing a great balance and cooling effect. — 5 years ago
Not as deep as Coutet but the flavors were solid. — 9 years ago

Last one? Still holding up well with dark fruited earthy notes and a robust firm texture that is very different from the Prestige bottle. This one has Syrah on top of Grenache and Mouvedre so there’s that — 5 months ago
