A very competent Rioja Reserva recommended by an Argentine friend for tapas meal out. Bright & confident in its cherry & vanilla notes, with enough barrel age to round it out & give some balsamic- as in aged, quality balsamic-depth. Kind of like a haircut that doesn’t surprise or disappoint. And a decent restaurant bottle under 40$ is always a good thing… — a year ago
Very nice. Mineral earthy yet full of aroma — 4 years ago
2010. Got a lot of time left. Dark dusty fruit, dill pickle barrel, vanilla, earth, stony minerality and nice acid. — a year ago
Just had this a few months ago, commented that I wanted to see how it would age. Better hide the rest of that’s what I want. I sure is lovely right now. — 2 years ago
