When it’s 90+ outside with tons of humidity, one can count on this chilled red to make everything seem so much better. Seriously though, carbonic sangio is fresh and quenching! Tart cherries and ripe raspberries followed by tomato vine and white pepper, great acid backbone supports the finish. — 5 years ago
Tasted blind, The nose has scents of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon I clled butmit was finally Merlot, 50-50 Sangio and Merlot. Nice wine with scents of black and blue fruit, violets and graphite. The palate is rich, dense, ripe, nice texture, seems younger then 14 years old, very good. — 2 years ago
Excellent nose and full of flavor. A bit of tannins still but a great wine. Let it open for an hour and then...just enjoy the Sangio in its fullest. — 4 years ago

This was quite a wine. Serious, but so pleasurable. Such a cool blend of equal parts Syrah and Sangiovese. Really exhibited a lot of classic Bordeaux notes. The Syrah and Sangio melded together and created a really harmonious composite. One of the best integrated wines I've had in some time. Well done. — 5 years ago
Nice Sangio. Keeps getting better the longer it’s open. Nice for sipping but would be better with food. — 5 years ago
