Le Gode
Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Powerful. The exact word. Strong aromas of a red currant, red berry - the fruits are dry; then a licorice, a dark chocolate, even a baked tomato(?). Needs a decantation (of course) - at least four hours. The finish is long with a mild pepper.

Excellent nose and full of flavor. A bit of tannins still but a great wine. Let it open for an hour and then...just enjoy the Sangio in its fullest.
