Pinot blanc. Delicious. Apple, pear, underlying funk, chalky minerality and great acid. — 9 years ago
2001 . All this dude's wines have amazing acid. — 11 years ago
Certainly one of the greatest of all Saar estates totally nailed it in '94 with this truly astounding TBA sold at the Trier auction in '96--massively intense, dark almost opaque color reminiscent of molasses & maple syrup with an intense coffee/chocolate flavor profile compounded by off-the-chart acidity very similar to an Eiswein. If ever a TBA deserved to be called AWESOME this one sure as hell does--ZOWEEE!!! — 12 years ago

The basic QbA trocken at 25 years of age and drinking surprisingly fine, as the cork was in perfect condition. Full of Saar minerals and just enough sunshine, it’s quite dry but not austere. I hate to see old friends go but there’s no reason to hold this last bottle any longer. — 5 years ago
This wine don't need anny comment 👍👍 — 10 years ago
Super tasty. Beautiful age. Honey and the sugar melting into bliss. The Cork was screwed though — 11 years ago
