Very very good easy to drink. Tastes like your at the vineyard. — 4 years ago
Not as good as I thought it would be. Kind of acidic smoothness could be better.
ALC 14.5%. Paid around $14.00 — 6 years ago
Full body taste with black cherry and plum in deep ruby color.
I like this raspberry, blackberry like fruit flavour that leads to smooth finish. — 7 years ago
Blackberry, raspberry, cassis, cherry, vanilla, chocolate and oak. Good structure and soft tannins. — 7 years ago
Solid. Plenty of cab taste without being overwhelming — 3 months ago
Pleasantly surprised - relatively complex. Good price. — 8 months ago
This is superlative Rutherford Cabernet, the real deal. Its perfection is marred only slightly by an odd bitterness to the end finish. Other than that, it hits all of the right notes: light dusty tannins, black cherries with a hint of chocolate, a bit of a tingle in the finish. This is great stuff from a lesser-known small family producer. — 3 years ago
Solid. Not as bold as the last vintage I had but I like it. — 5 years ago
Ripe sweet red fruit on the nose- beautifully aromatic and long lasting. Notes of red berries and vanilla. One of the best carb francs. I have had yet — 6 years ago
Good single vineyard cab. Earthy and a little fruity. — 7 years ago
My favorite red blend — 7 years ago
Fruity citrus aroma, medium acidity, tart finish, similar in texture and flavor to a Sancerre, paired well with oysters and Mahi Mahi. — 6 months ago
Excellent as always. A bit dusty — similar to Rutherford. Dark fruit. Good but not our favorite. — 2 years ago
The 2017 Ables Vineyard Cabernet is so flavorful and has such a smooth finish. Fruity and bold , but not overpowering . So good! — 6 years ago
Wow! This is a great wine at a smaller vineyard. A must try! I joined their wine club after having this at a steak restaurant. Can’t buy locally. Very friendly people at winery. I have order this for 3 years now & it keeps getting better with every year. This should be priced much higher than they sell this brand. A very bold, dense Cabernet. A must try! You won’t be disappointed. — 7 years ago
