Everything a Barossa Shiraz should be. Smooth, jammy berries. Slightly tart finish. — a month ago

Vlahiko Dry Red Blend 2016

I love Greek wine. They really get the idea. Light bodied, could be chilled. Like eating a eating a blueberry tart and drink a lambic with salt water riding up against the bottle. but Willy wonka style - so it’s all in this wine — 7 months ago

Estate Bottled Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2001

A fun blast to the past with this ‘01. Smooth tannins, bing cherry, black fruit. A roll of your tongue kind of experience. A Willy Wonka ticket for the holidays. — 2 years ago

Black berries and vanilla nose , medium to full body, medium dry, very soft and silky tannin , adequate acidity makes it very well balanced. Good balance — 6 months ago

Complices de Loire Chenin Blanc 2013

Very nice chenin blanc. Zippy and bright but also medium body, as it opens up tastes a bit like gruyere cheese and lemon and smells like what the candied daffodils in Willy Wonka I imagine would smell/taste like. Also has a nice touch of a bitter finish. Pairs great with citrus and tahini. — 3 years ago

Old Vine Lodi Zinfandel 2018

This Zinfandel from Predator makes me feel like I’m on a stroll through Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, stalked by flavors of tobacco, jam, cherry, spice, and everything nice. Umpa Lumpa’s chanting songs of intoxication and merriment lull me into bliss. This Zinfandel is the golden ticket. — 5 months ago

Pipeño Santa Juana País

Wow... super into this glou glou wine. Very cherry, super tart, strawberry rhubarb wine... the color is gorgeous. Medium bodied unfiltered yet the color of a dark sangria— dark magenta and not red. It’s so good. Smells like the perfume counter at Bloomingdales in the 00s, kinda a leathery musky and then Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb all around. This wine is really good AND a great deal since it comes as a liter. Highly recommend! And I’m not normally a fan of cool climate wine. — 2 years ago
