This is really impressive - Bobal, just absolutely brimming with such a gorgeous seductive nose, at one Spanish but then veered towards Bordeaux. Dark fruit, mocha, cassis, minerals, it also got smoky, really complex, great concentration, med + body, harmonious & balanced, enough acidity to carry flavors through finish. I really liked this! It smelled warm and spicy and fabulous and I sipped it from my friend's glass and I enjoyed it more than my Ribera del Duero Tempranillo. Tasted full and warm, with ripe/dried fruit, good acid, good tannins. Would definitely order this next time. — 12 years ago
