Bleu Rendezvous, Sanibel — 5 years ago
Although sourced in Napa, Sonoma and Washington State, this beauty is blended and aged by vintner and visionary, Anthony Schroth right here in the heart of the Tetons. This luscious Cab Franc/Syrah blend just won a Silver Medal at the San Francisco Chronicle’s annual wine competition. Dark cherry and blackberries are the prominent fruits in this full-bodied, well-balanced gem. Fantastic price point too. Go get you some! #jacksonholewinery #jhfoodandwine — 6 years ago

Color : Rosé
Wine estate : Domaine de Marchandise
Designation : AOC Côtes de Provence
Name : Côtes de Provence Rosé
Country : France
Vivino : 4/5
Note : Freshness and citrus fruits at the rendezvous. A pale salmon color, a nose focused on peach with a hint of spice and floral elements. In the mouth, intense flavors for a correct finish with notes of mangoes.

Really really good. I drank 3/4s of the bottle myself because I was not ready to share. — 4 years ago

The longer you can decant the better. Really opens up after couple hours. Dark black cherry, blueberry, great balance with earthiness. Powerful tannins mellow up over time. Hints of green pepper. Drank wonderfully tonight with friends at Rendezvous. — 5 years ago
Color : White
Wine estate : Philippe Cordonnier
Designation : Bourgogne
Name : Bourgogne Chardonnay
Country : France
Vivino : 4.5/5
Note : Always excellent in the quality of its wines. This white composed of a pale robe and its mineral nose and citrus is very well balanced. On the palate, a roundness is brought and aromas explode with a purpose that remains. A nice acidity and freshness are at the rendezvous and will make you have a great time.

2011 vintage is nice. Paired it with grilled pork chops with Rendezvous dry rub. Smooth fruit forward with very mild tannins. Excellent value. Recommended. — 9 years ago

Without a doubt, my favorite champagne producer. While the Crayeres and VP are my favorites, this was my first time enjoying the all Pinot meunier offering. This was opened alongside Billecart’s Rendezvous No1 and Prevosts’ La Closerie LC 17 (all three being Pinot meunier).
Disgorged mid 2019 after three years on the lees. This screamed Pinot meunier out of those three. The La Closerie (my favorite meunier champagne) has so much cardamom, and espresso coffee tones to it, and the Billecart seemed like a nice, bright champagne yet wasn’t overly expressive. The Egly had so much gummy fruit (like gummy fruit snacks), which I always get with meunier. Extremely expressive. Bright stone fruits on the nose along with spiced pear. Definitely a floral component...tangerine like. The palate is mostly racy at the core but surrounded by rich texture. An excellent representation of Pinot meunier. — 5 years ago

Beautiful bottle and wine color, dry but fruity and almost a little bubbly (not really though), rated highly by wine magazines, fun drink for summer. — 9 years ago

Nice aroma. Lovely mouthfeel. Ripe black and blue fruit, graphite, pencil shavings. Medium finish. Really enjoyed this with steak frites at Rendezvous. — 2 years ago
