Donpà Aglianico del Vulture 2015
First encounter with this grape and it's a good surprise! There chocolate and plum on the nose along with cherry and some spices. This is great! The palate is wide and long, with a beautiful fruit, shining all along, a nice matter on the side, a strong acid backbone wich gives an outstanding balance, a rather round mid palate which kicks start a long, fresh finish with cherry and blueberry (?) that lasts for ever! Petite Sirah Rosé 2015
Surprisingly buttery and viscous. Full dry. Fruit is indistinct due to texture. Closest I could get was unripe grape. Seriously. Low acid. Full of spice. Hard to technically evaluate. Color was like pale pink golden. Very strange. I have never had a rose of petite Sirah. I did enjoy it. Paired with smoked salmon. Pretty good. — 6 years ago

Italy in California, and it’s gorgeous. A particularly attractive shade of yellow straw in the glass. A touch of haziness. The nose is enticing with pretty white flowers and a touch of spice. Citrus aromas are dominant with the addition of fresh cut grass. There’s a faint hint of dried herbs here that is nice.
A blend of Ribolla Gialla, Riesling, Friulano, and Malvasia Bianca from the Russian River Valley. Full bodied and distinctive, this is a seriously fun wine. The Riesling here shows very well but the Ribolla Gialla is fantastic. Melons and mango on the palate along with more herbs and apples. Utterly delightful, a terrific wine from a new winery. — 3 days ago
