Does not get better — a year ago
Just gorgeous - inky dark brooding, gobs of blackberry but more black cherry mingled with licorice (more anise), medicinal, forest floor, raisins & prunes. Silky sexy viscous fat across mid palate and then off to lingering echoing finish. Just wanted a bit more acidity thru finish, but for the age, relieved it showed so well. — 3 years ago
Great with cheese and crackers. — 6 months ago
Star of the night IMO - beautiful light dessert red, just as I remember it from Verona, far outclassed the Sicilian white, a great (summertime?) alternative to port as a digestif — 10 months ago

Rich red fruit and dried plum spices, elegant balance and not overtly sweet. — 5 years ago
Nose like a 1980’s on palate like 2000’s even after opening (kept in bottle) for a day. Once poured out the glass the wine mellow down quite quickly. Drank it at Suinsom Val Gardena — 8 months ago
Tasty dessert wine, not as syrupy as port — a year ago
