Layers of tropical & citrus fruit accented by ginger notes. The texture is a bit waxy & this adds some good complexity. Acid isn’t pronounced at first, but this opens up to show some vibrancy and freshness. — 6 years ago

A passito unlike anything I’ve had from Italy. The raisiny brown sugar spice of a Vin Santo, crossed with the almondy stonefruity richness of a Zibibbo. But with a honey purity that seems almost Sauternes-like. Very good. — 8 years ago
