If you know me, you know I’m not much of a merlot fan. But this, as always, is delicious. — 8 years ago
Sure do wish that wasn't the last bottle in the cellar. — 10 years ago
I will try any Carneros Pinot Noir, and the 2010 is the best I've had, alongside Saintsbury's Block C Pommard — 10 years ago
Oldie and goodie. Gift for uncle Dave. Yum. — 11 years ago

Totally delicious, smooth, balanced, and complex. Fruity vanilla oak notes. — 8 years ago
This is actually the 2013 Spectrum Estate Blend, mixing the three different varietals grown at Rasmussen: Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah. Having tried both the Cab and Merlot on their own - and they were lighter in style - it's not surprising the meaty, smoky Syrah chews its way through to the forefront. I can't recall for certain, but they may have said this blend was equal parts for all grapes. The Cab and Merlot add some softness, and the warm Paso days add some beautiful dried fruits. Drinking nicely right now. — 9 years ago
Sharp, focused and surprisingly elegant at this age. A baby now but built to age. Ripe cranberry and red fruits! Thank you @Emily Rasmussen! — 10 years ago
Good stuff. Rich jammy fruit, vanilla, tobacco. Med tannins. #wifelovesit #nakedwines — 10 years ago
Super drinkable with food! Peppery and juicy! — 11 years ago
This was fabulous when opened it a few months ago. Still decent, but suffered a bit from oxidation. — 6 years ago
I’ve extolled on Rasmussen before, but they truly are one of my favorite producers in Paso. Incredible varietal expression with this Cab - not your traditional Cali oak bomb. Great wine from great people (and at a great price). Looking forward to more! — 8 years ago

Well done @Cody Rasmussen ! — 8 years ago
An excellent and atypical Chardonnay, this wine is medium bodied with a bright, acidic mouthfeel and citric grassy flavors, and only a touch of creaminess. This is a far cry from the frankly silly style so recently in vogue in California. — 10 years ago
Exceeded expectations, surprisingly good wine. Fruit forward, not as high tannin as a Chianti but similar notes - ripe red berries, sour cherry, dried cranberry, dried herbs, fennel, and chalk. Medium body, modest finish. — 11 years ago

An excellent Merlot. A definite repeat. — 2 years ago
