Medium lemon colour with touches of copper . Quite light nose at first , slightly nutty along with , sea breeze, ripe green apple and touch of crystallised citrus peel. On the palate quite persistent and complex , more of the nutty , iodine , seaweed , character, along with that green fruit, with a walnut note on the finish. Good acidity and balance, relatively light bodied and delicate . Overall a good impression, refreshing and moreish . On the second day this appears more intense and saline, showing better than yesterday. — 2 years ago
Atlantic Ocean, lite...Notes tomorrow?
192H Update:
Nose has fully saturated oak plank, moist almonds, incredible sweet & saline notes, fermenting green apples, white chocolate bar, white candle wax and fresh yellow apple slice. Palate has almond broth (does that exist?), dried yellow apple, chamomile tea, moist bread, faint green olive (?) with mild saline finish, faint acidity. Damn I do not drink enough Manzanilla! — 3 years ago
100% Pedro Ximenez from vineyards in Moriles Altos, one of the top areas within the Montilla-Moriles appellation. Vines are rooted in albariza (tosca hojaldrada) soils. Aged for an average of 3 years under flor in the solera system and bottled en rama (unfiltered). Intense nose with notes of toasted almonds and yeast. Sharp, very dry and saline on the palate. A very powerful and sapid, quite persistent wine. Umami 💣 — 3 years ago

Phenomenal wine with intense flavor concentration dominated by secondary bio characteristics and elevated with vibrant salinity and subtle oxidation. Prominent texture and body differentiates it from others in its class. An outstanding wine that I’ll be buying again! $24.99/375ml — 5 months ago
